Travelzoo [travelzoo.com] will be assessing a new membership fee of $40 USD, annually beginning January 1, 2024. Current Travelzoo members will have their fee waived for 2024.

Non-members, if you join for free before December 31, 2023, you will also have the new 2024 fees waived. Remember to cancel your membership by December 2024 so you don't get assessed the annual membership fee if this service didn't work for you.

Never thought they had any good deals. Too many add ons. Vacations to go has good cruise deals.

Thumbs down for implementing a fee for absolutely no services. Which is what they've been doing lately - such as charging a fee just to hear about the better deals. Plus a lot of things are now non-refundable that didn't used to be. It's like paying a membership fee to use Orbitz.

They aren't as great as they think they are.

My PSA. Just because travelzoo advertises something doesn't mean they're a reputable company or that travelzoo will have your back. Google UTOvacation scam (can see reddit, bbb, trustpilot, and others). TravelZoo advertised them and their deals to China. Many people booked and UTOvacation cancelled the trips with no refund (just travel credit on regular priced packages). People reached out to Travelzoo to let them know so Travelzoo stops advertising and could help out and Travelzoo looked the other way and kept advertising UTOvacation. Credit card companies don't help much because trips were a year later and UTOvacation lied to the credit card companies. People filed complaints with the Canadian agency TICO for help. Wish Travelzoo would step in for something they advertise. Left a bitter taste for me
