Most people don't know this, but you can adjust a standard strikeplate without unscrewing it. If you look inside the hole, on the strike side, there's a little tab in there. Stick a flathead screwdriver in it and bend it out just a little bit, and it will make it snug again. This won't help for vertical adjustments, however.
