Was literally thinking when this set would be on sale when I saw the Technic Ferrari Daytona SP3 Race Car on sale on Amazon. Great to pair with my Lego Technic Land Rover Defender.

I picked one up when Lego had triple VIP points on it in Nov. That might have been a slightly better deal, but either way I'm happy I got it. And yes I did pair it with the Technic Defender 😁

Is this the same scale as the technic defender? For some reason it appears smaller to me but could just be an optical illusion?

Edit: I suppose it could also be that this defender is also physically smaller irl than a current day defender

This is what the original MSRP should have been for this kit, especially compared to the larger 2019 Defender which had 200 more pieces.
