I have been looking at these for a while, but there are other speakers at this price point that I'd probably pick first to listen to music. Revel m16 at $700 or Ascend Acoustics Sierra1v2 at $950+ shipping, or Philhormanics ceramic minis come to mind. Sierras and the Phil's are at least partially American made rather than put together in china and imported. A4L has these b stock for $899 btw. Home theater or surround use, these probably win due to the speaker design .

Edit These are also same price at Amazon and BB for those with cards/points

Not that I am not patriotic. I don't know about you, but I don't buy speakers based on where it is made. If it sounds good to my ears,then that is what I am going for.
