Correct! This is basically a leased brand using their name, other brands do this so people buy in to their product. Quality is nil! Pretty much stuff that is $40 at kohls any day of the year!

Anything that you spend a large chunk of your day on, you should not skimp on IME - shoes, mattresses, office chairs. There are brands that are known for making much more comfortable dress shoes. Read the reviews on costco.com - these are garbage.

I wouldn't expect much out of these. At this MSRP, I guarantee the sole is just cemented on (meaning that welt stitch is only decorative,) the outsole is rubber and reconstituted leatherboard, and the upper will probably look terrible once fully broken in. Maybe a good shoe to wear on very rare occasions, such as weddings or job interviews, if you don't want to shell out for a proper dress shoe. To be blunt about it all, seems like a landfill shoe, not one to buy and keep for years of use.

Edit: just zoomed in and noticed the "leatherboard heel stack" is actually just painted onto a full rubber heel. These are gross.
