    Looks like the complaint is that they run smaller than the listed H x L x W. Makes sense there would be returns if the item that someone purchased that size for didn't fit. Good that you brought it up for people w/ an item that would barely fit the listed dimensions.

    I was thinking of using this to store documents. But listed dimension is smaller than the A4 size sheet thus making it not usable for storing documents either. I'm not able to find a good use of this other tab storing tiny things or valuables no larger than a mobile phone.

    The returns are likely due to reviews that show different shaped boxes. For example, the reviews say this box is perfect for the Mavic Mini, but the photos in those reviews show a shallow wide box, not a tall narrow one. It's not immediately obvious that certain reviews pertain to different size boxes

    Thinking for important documents you're better with something like this. It protects from Fire and Water.

    Good eye. I looked further. There's some pics showing the internal height to be 7" and another dimension as 6.5". No pic for the last internal dimension, but it looked about 9" (rough guesstimate).

    Not as advertised but I'm fine with its real dimensions.

    Important thing is knowing what you are getting into.

    I got the previous deal and use it as a carrying for electronics, camera, etc. I got one for a friend who uses it as cosmetics tote.

    I bought a couple of these a few years ago when they were on sale from Monoprice directly. It's sort of an odd size when you're used to the kind of briefcase style, but it can be very useful.

    I just measured the inside to put these weird speculations to rest. Inside width and length are 6.5" x 10.5", and it will be slightly less towards the bottom. Open lid rim to the bottom is 7", and then you get another 1.5"depth in the lid.

    Recently I used one to put an entire set of Canon portable printer Selphy CP1500 plus extra paper and extra dye-sub dry ink cartridges in between the remaining layers of foam.

    Another practical use case is for this moving head LED which fits snuggly on the side and held securely by thin bottom foam layer and the one in the lid: https://a.co/d/8D6200n

    Totally worth it, already ordered a few more to protect sensitive stuff to store and carry.

    That's all too common, especially on Amazon - reviews that don't match up because they sell multiple products from one page and the reviews for different sizes/models get mixed. Frustrating when trying to make sense of the reviews when you have to determine form context which ones even pertain to what you're looking at.

    The problem with this is that there is no listing of it's internal size. For example this 9.9 listing as 11x8x10 outer dimension. But one picture indicating it's 20" tall (with handle up?) There is no way it can be this tall with the picture as a reference too.
