FWIW, I bought this when it was $500 at Microcenter.

The picture was absolutely beautiful with my Playstation, streaming, and PC. The software was a little wonky, but manageable.
Unfortunately the device would cycle the picture to black every 3-5 minutes. I did a lot of research, and found that this is a common issue, and is often overheating. I wasn't comfortable modding a brand new device, so I returned it.

When I got to Microcenter, I was not the only one returning this device.
I don't know enough about monitors and didn't see what type of panel in the specs. But other specs indicate what type of panel this could be? TN, VA, IPS?

Best Buy list it as VA:

I use a 43" from a different manufacturer and I sit about 30" back with 125% scaling.

On my LG 43" I sit at normal monitor distance. It's basically 4x 21" monitors with no bezel.

This has to be one of the best affordable pieces of tech. It's not perfect but man, $450 in today's dollars is a steal.

I use this in my home office to work and game and it is a dream for both. I am much more serious about productivity than gaming so take that into consideration.

I'm sure it's obvious to most, but this is a flat monitor, in case you were/weren't looking for that

I ordered one of these and had issues with it recovering from standby, not recognizing inputs, and eventually the screen started to scramble with different cables even.

In my forties with corrected vision, about two feet back. In my case, it's at the L of a corner desk so I am able to scoot it back to the perfect distance. Been at 43" for work since 2020 and while it was a shock at first, I will never go back.

Windows 11 and 4 windows at 4K (one in each corner) is really great. Basicallly the equivalent of 4 x 22" monitors.

Not even comparable. I have the LG CX and when I got this, the color difference alone made me return it.

That's odd. I have 4 Samsung Mini LED products and the comparison to OLED was fine when the tradeoff was price and burn-in (comparing to a C2 I had in the house for a short time).
