On the PC this game is fantastic, and one of my favorite games to play. It teaches you some of the best business lessons that you won't learn in the classroom. Supply/ Demand, pricing, customers attitudes with long lines, and to sell hot chocolate in the winter, and raise umbrella prices in the summer right before it rains. Love this game.

I bought this for my 9 year old nephew last Christmas for the Switch...and honestly the controls took all the fun out of it. For both him and me. I'm also not used to the Switch controls, I'm a ps5/xbox controller guy, so that didn't help. We spent the whole time trying to learn the controls, instead of actually "playing". The learning curve was just too steep, and he lost interest in it...and so did I.

I played Planet Coaster on Playstation, as a comparison, and that has a learning curve too, but the Switch just didn't keep us interested. I'll try it again this Christmas and see if it's any better. There's just a lot fewer buttons than a keyboard, so doing all of the combos to get the same result didn't work for us. Just my experience! But if you know your way around a Switch without looking down at the buttons, this could be a much better experience than what we had.

I don't know about joy con/controller play, but I had it on iPad a few years ago and was blown away how great it was as a touchscreen game - literally one of my favorite games ever.

Not sure if the switch version is going to be touch enabled, I couldn't tell on Nintendo's website.

The controls on RCT3 are very difficult to master. However the port runs great and I have over 50 hours on this game. Once you get the hang of the controls it's not bad. Great at this price.

I am really considering this one, I used to love the original for PC years and years ago. How does this game hold up on the switch? Any issues with controls or overall enjoyment when comparing to a mouse? Being able to play this, say in an airplane, or on the go somewhere seems intriguing, but haven't considered playing this with a controller or switch setup. Thanks in advance Smilie

I'm kinda skeptical of the controls being OK on switch, but it's great if it's true... I've tried playing RTS games like Command and Conquer, LOTR, etc on console and it was pretty clunky. I realize it's a different genre, but the whole clicking aspect just would seem so much easier on PC... Wondering if GOG might have a comparable sale for the PC version

I have put in around 4 hours on the Switch. It definitely takes a little getting used to but playable. Generally, I enjoy the game a bit more on the PC than on the switch but appreciate that the switch is more portable. Pros/Cons, can't have it all.
