You go to "About this Mac" > "More Info" > and check if it's AppleCare eligible. OR, you could just input the serial number on Apple's website. Truthfully, who is using a warranty that ISN'T AppleCare?!?!?! Why deal w/a 3rd party when you can deal directly with Apple and their very cheap repair solutions?
Too much tire kicking over something frivolous. Apple is not going to go "....Well, you bought this from Woot, so we can't provide coverage" if you're going the APpleCare route.
I wish I would trust a 3rd party's warranty over Apple's itself. Spend the money, keep it moving.
Dumbo
I'd do it but I am not pulling the trigger on this deal. But if someone is interested it would be a lot better if they knew facts instead of…. This nonsense.

Except it's not. Apple has a clear policy for a reason. Sure, they may flex occasionally, but that doesn't mean their policy isn't there.
Again, I'm just informing the consumers that shop here. You can argue all you want. It doesn't make what I say not true. 😂

What I would never buy again from Woot! is refurbished stuff. Years ago I bought a few iPhones 7 and found out the hard way that their batteries were not only horrible, they had actually third party batteries in them which is why the Genius Bar wouldn't want to touch them anymore when I tried to have them refreshed with new OEM batteries. This fact was nowhere disclosed. I wouldn't have bought them if I had known upfront.
Normally, I'd say that Apple doesn't offer discounts since its device lifespan is 6 years, but that is a good 1 year drop. Just a little worried that you can't buy an extended Apple warranty given that this is already a refurb
This item says new. It qualifies for AppleCare+. Every new Apple product does so. And then Apple refurbished items qualifies for the exact same AppleCare+. Apple makes no difference here. Just don't fall for the seller refurbished garbage, that doesn't qualify for more than hot air.
Worst case return the product.

I've bought new and refurbished Apple products from Woot and they are covered by Apple and you can even purchase Apple care. You can do all this from the comfort of your Apple computer. If things don't work out you can return it for a full refund and they'll provide a paid label.
