Most supplements in pill form are overly processed and the quantity is so tiny, so I can believe most are ineffective. But I've personally had great results with taking various herbs in powder form in the sufficient amount per dose.

I draw a distinction between "supplements" which are usually in pill form and marginally effective, and bulk herbal powders, which when taken in sufficient dosage, are highly effective.
