This is a good deal. I bought the pre Black Friday deal from Target, and I thought it would go quick at $450 plus a $75 target gift card. Also used a red card to save 5% for $464.19 after tax. 464.19 - 75 = $389.19 after tax. This $349 is $381.28 after my local tax

rumor has it that these are phasing out. the series x "refresh" will be filling up new stock. an all digital series X. get these while you still can🤔

Not sure why people are still confused about this, Microsoft has the money to do a loss leader program. They can take the hits on console prices in order to drive game pass subs. It's a good market strategy to get people into their platform. It's also a lot better than ps and nintendo's meager holiday deals, which aren't exactly amazing when you still have to buy games on top of them.

Same here since my pc isn't great at playing game pass games. Games are optimized on consoles now vs pc anyways. Added benefit of getting a 4k blu ray player too before this inventory is cleared out to make way for all digital on the next version. There's lots of sales on physical media for clearance.

Oh and there's the fact that it's the only emulation device among the three major systems. If you have older consoles that have croaked you can kind of use it as a replacement for that. Several games in people's closets that simply can't be used because their older consoles are no longer operable.
