Meh. Although I'm really bummed I missed out on the previous Woot mac studio. This one is base model and previous generation. The other was a seriously pumped version that made up for being the previous generation.

Thats a great deal. Same as the price I paid for my M1 Max, 32GB, 1 TB SSD. It makes me feel better that I would not have seen any difference between this ultra and my M1 max in the things I do! Even the M1 Max is overkill.

I was debating on getting it since it was a fantastic deal, but when I finally made up my mind to order one a few hours later it had already sold out.

It was the base model of the Ultra chip version with 64gb rm and 1tb ssd for $2200. Sold out on Woot - yes - you'll find it here on a search for mac studio - I was emailed via my alert settings, but was too late.

I got the refurbed M2 Studio via Apple a few months back for $1700, loving it since. You get a bit upgraded specs with M2 comparing to M1.
