They may have meant fees outside of sales taxes, and if they live in a state w/out sales tax (e.g. Oregon) there are literally no tax or fees on this item when purchased on Amazon or eBay.

InifiMobile appears to be the same company as InfiCloud. They provide infrastructure software for MVNOs. So there is a possibility they'll be around a year from now

There is tax when purchased via eBay or Amazon. It depends on which state you live. I am in Texas and this is what I paid for the $50 plan for 6 months when purchased through Amazon
