Paid $200 each for the bare tools like a sucker. Sometimes the deals just don't align with the projects though.

These are great, just be sure to use a face shield and long sleeves because wires shoot out pretty quick at 20k rpm

Waiting forever for a sweet deal like this, thanks for posting, I guess I just wasn't quick enough on the draw. At least SOMEONE is getting these at a reasonable price. All I get is:

This is my first SD post I think, but this seemed like an amazing deal. I ordered right away and then posted. I Googled "m12 die grinder" and this was the first result

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

There is some anecdotal evidence that this particular M12 tool will ruin your 6.0 batteries. It took out two of mine. A person in an FB group I'm in said it took out (4) of his 6.0. A friend had it ruin two of his 6.0. He warrantied his batteries.

I suspect this is a very high current tool.

It pulls the 3S cells too far out of balance, and then the charger will refuse to charge them. Staggeringly, the M12 charger is not a balance charger.

I was able to repair my batteries by opening them up and individually charging each pair back to 4.2V, and then the charger was happy.

I haven't used this tool since then with the HO batteries to see if it is any better.

I got this to work but ONLY for store pickup. Delivery makes the checkout button go away.

it's not the tool. milwaukee batteries in general are trash, especially the high output M18 models. this year alone i had to RMA not 1, not 2, not even 3, but FOUR 12ah Milwaukee HO batteries as well as one 6ah forge that died after 2 uses on a brand new impact wrench.

milwaukee has problems with manufacturing (bad spot welding) as well as their battery management system (charges groups of cells unevenly until one group's voltage falls so low that it won't charge any more). either issue can cause your battery to stop taking charge.
