Bought this game less than a week ago from Amazon at full price. I know they no longer price match, but do they give credit if their own prices drop?

If it makes any difference, this is a FromSoft game so you aren't likely to see it go less than 29.99 for a long, long time and the game is great. Most years, it would have been more of a GoTY contender. I got a big backlog too but wasn't disappointed when I fired this up 👍

In addition, I think Avatar will be one of those games that goes cheap really quick. It's came out at the end of a year that was incredibly strong gaming wise and early 24 has some games that are looking nice too. I think Ubisoft is going to come to realize that they chose a terrible time to launch and the sales will suffer over it.

I couldn't cancel my Amazon order from yesterday as it already shipped. Chat says they'll adjust my price once it's delivered and have a note on the account saying to make the adjustment when I contact them again.

The best you may see in that time is $29.99 and frankly, I doubt it. That's what I paid a couple months ago but it was a one off deal from Secondipity or Id have posted it for SDers. It's a FromSoft game and their games tend to hold their prices. To this day, I still haven't seen a new copy of Demon Souls Remake for less than $29.99.
