Decent price for 36, but those aren't $90 pens

Stick with 0.5mm, 0.38mm G2's are very sharp and pointy good for fine writing where you need to write small words to fit your lines. I find 0.7mm lines too thick and not as nice to write with. There's a reason why the Pilot G2 is number one and it's still my favorite pen because of the slimmer barrel and smoothness and glide when you're writing. My second favorite pen is Sharpie S-Gel, then it's between Uniball One and Sarasa Clip. While Sarasa is a decent pen it's not as smooth as I would like it to be.

If you still write checks, gel pens are perfect to defeat "washing ink" off checks...

Yep. They average $1 - $1.50 depending on quantity ordered.

I'll also add that a vast majority of the colors are absolutely useless and too faint for utility.
As an artist, yes, G2's have a place in illustration, but not that whole range of colors. If you fancy yourself an artist, you're better off using at most 2 Colors in a Ballpoint illustration. 36 colors is just over kill... unless you're one of those fancy Scrapbook/Day Journal people with Live Laugh Love monikers blinding all your decor.

Best pens but it's almost impossible to get through a full one; you drop it once with the tip open and it never writes smooth again -_-

The 7 G2 is a standard in the service industry.

The problem is in the CLIP. Those break off very easily, rendering the pen effectively useless.

Use a lot of pens? The sharpie cartridge fits the G2 pen, and it's waterproof. Best of both worlds.

Lol 7 too thick? I'm all about the 1.0 bold. Absolutely nothing flows and writes like those pens.... And I'm a lefty, I manage lol.

Of course the size I like is double the price.

I use the 10? color packs for marking up engineering drawings, draft documents etc. For example, an underline in orange means to verify a specific fact or number. So I would underline the previous 10? in orange! Smilie
