Reached to tforce on x. Mentioned both the internal document # and the promotion name as well as my segments need to be checked to see if I'm eligible. We'll see what they say. I currently have 8 lines for $100 a month.
Is it 100$ in total for service of 8 lines? Which plan?
I have magenta max and paying like 150$ for 4 lines

-I got 2 different responds-

TM Rep from the App:
"We've reviewed the segment in your account and It's not yet available in your account. We'll notify you via email when it's available and that's the best time to add the new line."

TForce from X:
"Hello. I reviewed your account and I do not see that the free line offer is available to you. I also checked to see if there was another available offer at this time, and there isn't currently. Thanks for checking in and I hope you have a good rest of your day. If you need anything else, we are here for you always. Thanks."

I believe at some point, last couple days of December 27th maybe 28th, TM will provide more accurate information on this matter.

I always take advantage of these free lines as I'm on an old One Plan. Got to a total of 9 lines on my account, aka the 9-12 club. Great things happened to my bill, and I'm not risking screwing that up... but good luck to all!
which One plan is that one?
I am on the 2 Lines ONE Plan All In Promo - i have a tablet line however but i thought i would be capped at 3.

Unless I am missing something, nobody is qualified per Tforce (X and FB) but most are per T-Mobile app chat. I am not touching this thing

After I port out , should I wait for certain period before porting back on to free line?
I haven't done it myself but I don't think you have to wait. Per some random poster on reddit replying to port-out, port-in over free line [reddit.com]: "Official guideline is 90 days but I have done it same day and it worked."

My only T-Mo line is the $10 business tablet plan, am I ever going to be eligible for a free line?
Probably not. You have a business account and these free line offers are on the consumer side, most of which have required two paid voice lines to qualify.

Simple Choice North America plan w/ 10 lines (1 free) and 2 free data lines.

I contacted tforce via fb messenger (after 6.5 hrs) told me I was ineligible. I'll try calling tomorrow. Although even if I could get it, I may be capped by the # of lines. I've gotten mixed feedback on 10 lines being the max vs 12 being the max.
Simple Choice has a max of 10 voice lines. Newer consumer plans (aka One, Magenta, Go5G) have a maximum of 12 voice lines.

I'm currently on Magenta 1.0, 2 paid + 1 free.

I chatted with T-Mobile through the app, and they said:

"I have checked the details and as I see that your account is not showing eligible for this promo. However, i am sharing the details with my leadership to eligible for this offer and we will try our best"

Not holding my breath for this.

TMO call center reps couldn't help. Chat rep said it was available. I tried calling in to add it once I had the IMEI for my BYOD, and they said the promo is just for $800 off a device. They can't see the free line in their system. 🙄
that is what they told one (I am on One+ Promo)

Yep it was BYOD. Even after I went to the store and got the deal people kept telling me on t-mobile discord and on slickdeals that I was stupid and that the promo credits would magically "drop off". It's been a year and I'm still getting the credits. Unless something has changed, their whole BYOD thing is a myth and it works for device credits.

Based on what I'm seeing on the discord, no one is qualifying for this free line.
They make a big deal to tell customers it doesn't qualify for promo and they must pay full price up front and I think it's because systematically they can't track it and remove the promo

Chatted through the app and was able to add the free line without providing an IMEI and also had activation waived. Order it in and expecting a sim card in the mail in a few days. Took screenshots of all the important questions and answers just in case but I was assured multiple times that everything was good to go…

got it on one military plan. chat said not eligible, but phone rep told me i was good to go. credited back the activation fee. they said itd take 1-2 billing cycles for the line to show up as crediting back, eg paying for at least the 1st cycle. anyone else get same info?
