Gonna be honest. This is not horrible. Jada isn't a great brand, and this probably won't last forever, but something of this quality would've been huge in the 80s; probably bigger than Robosen now.

It's still pretty cool now. If my son was younger (was big into Transformers, and I have mine from when I was a kid), I would have bought this without a second thought. It's a lot cheaper than the $500 or whatever one and, yes, not as amazing, but the remote control adds a lot.

Some reviewers say it breaks in the first few plays. Not surprising for a toy with moving parts and mostly used by boys. It is pretty big in size. That's what returns are for. For $10, u can get the mini 6" action figure that will never break then.

Honestly, none of authentic autobot toys is good quality and they all look like cheap plastic. My expectations are quite low.
