145 deal upvotes and only 6 pages of comments (and strangely not one of them negative or critical even though I know I posted a few). The bots and the censor police are working overtime shilling for Costco. All over....wait for it...a regular monthly sale ad. Not even an actual deal!

Tires for under $900? Maybe if you have a small car. A Mini I had once tires were like $600 or so (just the tires, not install), but that was 6 years ago so even that is probably more $$. An average SUV or minivan is easily $1100+.

I've been eyeing these tire deals as the winter tires I've been rotating onto my wife's minivan are probably on their last season.
I just purchased a set of Blizzaks from Costco for my Santa Cruz with 18" wheels. $200 each, $800 total.

Stop by the CS to do a price adjustment. They can even look the item up.
Any tips on getting an item adjusted that you purchased at a higher price in one store but its a lower price at a different store? Did this for an out of stock item that was in stock at one store (but higher price) and trying to get it for the lower price now from the out of stock store.

got glasses two weeks ago and it was $50 off if you got a second pair
Your post got me curious. I went back and looked at the current savings book and I didn't see the eyeglass savings in there either. So I called Costco optical and the person said they have moved to an always $50 off a second pair deal all the time for the foreseeable future. That is why it has not been in the savings book at least this last month and in this forthcoming book. (I had not payed attention for 2 years otherwise…). Thanks to all who commented and helped clear this up for me. When I couldn't see the deal in either book, I thought I was the one who needed an eye exam, ha ha. Currently helping my aunt with eyeglasses and she wanted to wait until there was a "coupon"

Good, glad it helped someone... I also didn't know about the deal until I was halfway through checkout, and at that point I had no time to start all over on finding a second pair.

Thanks again! Wow, sorry that happened to you! You would think there would be signs in Optical to advertise this savings.

Best is to go to CS counter and ask them. They are more than happy to look things up and help you. I've bought stuff from different stores and do return. Worst is that they can just say they can't do it.

$6 off. $8 off. Off of what? The way Costco does its ads is useless. Just give me the actual price, please...
You know the price varies by location, right?

The "sale" yogurt has high sugar content. Low Fat isn't the end-all.

Everything else - I use my Kroger app to compare prices before I go to Costco or in-store. Often things are less at Kroger even with the "sale" discounts (I always price by per-unit and don't get swayed by marketing rhetoric.) With the points I accrue at K gas sometimes costs the same as C. Plus, K is closer to my home without the traffic nightmare at Costco for those times when it's not worth the hassle.
