Edit - not sure why this is getting down votes - legitimately slimy company that's now owned by Nestle

Didn't know, but still keeps me from buying...

Everything else - I use my Kroger app to compare prices before I go to Costco or in-store. Often things are less at Kroger even with the "sale" discounts (I always price by per-unit and don't get swayed by marketing rhetoric.) With the points I accrue at K gas sometimes costs the same as C. Plus, K is closer to my home without the traffic nightmare at Costco for those times when it's not worth the hassle.

I second this. Sprouts/Kroger wins in fresh produce and fruits even buying at bulk. Its not the same Costco where you used to get 25-35% more for the same price at local stores. I am not sure if the warehouse pricing really increased or Costco just became greedy or pressured by investors to earn more..
Monday, I see the actual coupon book and now its $60 off 4 tires(under$899) or $80 off over $900
WTF ??? I even took a screenshot at the flyer I was looking at crazy
Frozen salmon was $22
Start of sale, frozen salmon increased to $25, with $5 off making it $20
End of sale, frozen salmon is now $25
For non-perishables like tissue paper, you can still get a "price match" after 30 days. Just bring your old receipt when you go shopping. Buy a new case of tissues at the sale price. Then immediately go to the service desk and return it using the old receipt (pre-sale price). If they question you about it, just tell them something like you and your wife unknowingly bought one case each, and you no longer have space to store both.
I've done this many times and have been told by more than one club that when you return items the system uses the highest price paid, so you don't have to fish through your receipts to find the prior purchase (I don't keep receipts, they are all available in the app even if it's a bit of a PITA to look through since there's no search function).

Around here we have Stop & Shop, rather expensive. They have a gas program I used to abuse the hell out of before they neutered it (buying GC for multiple points then using BB to cash out the GC, rinse repeat). The larger problem is with their program, they use Shell as a partner and Shell is routinely $0.10 - $0.20 more expensive than other stations right nearby, not to mention Costco that's a good $0.10 - $0.20 below them.

LIquid IV. Sweet.
If you have them in your area, Dollar General stores sometimes have 15 or 20 percent off xbox or playstation gift cards.
I'm not sure why the original mentioner is getting downvoted. Lots of people have Fidelity accounts with this perk but don't know they do, so if you're one of them, you obviously don't need the Costco deal.
I had the offer in my account, but I already bought it from Amazon BF deal, so ended up with one extra premier PC download version (good to file five federal and one state). PM me if you are interested in splitting the total cost with me. First come first serve.

Several others have mentioned this, but Costco is like an hour trip on MARTA. The next auto-trip to Costco won't be until after the 30-days. Ten bucks isn't worth the hassle.
