YMMV: single use code for $100, email was about Google Wallet
Carry Google Wallet on the most powerful Pixel phones yet
Add a card, add a ticket, add a pass – experience Google Wallet on the latest, most powerful Pixel phones with an exclusive offer of $100. Plus, you can combine this with existing holiday offers for a total discount of $250 off Pixel 8 phones and $300 off Pixel 8 Pro phones.
It feels like those phones are not selling well so Google is starting to entice people already using their services to buy them and it seems they're becoming more and more "inclusive"😂 not complaining but at this point why not just say "whomever wants to buy this just please let us know and we'll just give the discount"
Does any of the codes stack with the sale price? AFAIK there is
40% for gold and above perks
$100 off for Google one
$125 off for yt premium
Only one code per order. They all stack with sale prices except the 40% which is off retail

If they wanted to sell phones they would have lowered the price or increased the trade values. This strat gets them more customers as a lot of people have been signing up for their services just to get this promo
Received email today from Google One with $100 discount code. "As a Google One member, you get $100 off along with additional holiday deals on a new Pixel 8 phone"
Examples
Pixel 8 128 GB= $549.00 - $100 Google One promotion code = $449.00 plus tax
Pixel 8 Pro 128 GB = $799.00 - $100 Google One promotion code = $699.00 plus tax
It was $599 last year at launch and $699 this year. I skipped the P8 and moving to S23/24 line because the tensor sucks on compute workload. Pixel is so refined in experience but battery is atrocious for me, solely that's the reason I'm moving away. My screen time is like 3-4 hours and I use Firefox with ublock a lot. It's a great phone for sub $400 but not at asking.
So if you wanna stack up the codes and bite it, go for it. P8 pro has all the photo gimmicks than P8, so there is that

These promos are such a mess, and insanely confusing. I got the promo email from Google One for $300 off the P8Pro, and another email from "Google Assistant" with the exact same deal.
I'm with Google Fi, and when I went to look at the trade in value for my Pixel 7 128Gb the trade in value was $179. (pathetic) But if I changed the carrier from Google Fi to "Unlocked" for the new P8Pro...and then look at the trade in value for my P7...it's now $280.
Going through checkout, the new P8 Pro, 256GB Unlocked, with the $100 off coupon and $200 off for P8 Pro (only one coupon entered, but they gave both discounts), my total was $833. After the $280 trade in, it came out to $553.
I was hoping for the $699 P8 Pro (like the ad showed) minus my $280 trade in. THAT would be worth it. But at $553, it isn't worth "hoping" the battery is better than the P7.
(their website is also insanely slow right now, so playing with all the codes is like using dial up. How ironic when shopping for their "fastest phone". LOL)
PS the email codes don't matter, they are automatically applied. I removed both coupons and then added the codes...same result. $833. Sneaky marketing, Google!
