Any idea how this compares to the vitamix offered by Costco or Sam's? It's about $50 more than the others when on sale but retail is much higher on this Amazon model. Obviously the container size and I believe motor size are some differences.

I have this and love it, but the price for addons is pretty cost prohibitive; eg. to get a personal cup-size attachment for this series is almost the cost of a 3-piece ninja blender set on sale. Not in the same class, I know, but still something to consider

This was on sale for Black Friday 2021 for $385 so this is a decent deal. I bought it for my in-laws and love it. The make poblano/spinach soup with it and turns out really smooth. A lot better than our cheap Oster blender.

I believe this is the one you want to compare it to. If not, Rtings reviews most blenders and has a pretty good methodology for looking at technical differences.
