Not expecting record breaking ANC and performance. Can anyone compare the ANC to the reference Sony XM5's? I have those and they're at least 2x as powerful (for noise cancellation) as my Anker q25's.

I just need a cheap headset that I won't mind losing too much.



PS. Never mind. The 12 hr battery life kills the deal. Wouldn't even last an entire long flight.

I have these - bought a couple weeks ago. The sound is good. The build quality of the headset is rather light and plasticy. They're just fine for occasional use. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound for $25. Comes with a 1yr warranty so if it breaks within that time just hit up monoprice for a replacement. That's what got me to keep them.

This happens to me with every pair as well. I can usually get them replaced within the year but the sound will go out in one side. It's a bummer since these are the most comfortable pair of headphones I can find in a decent price range.

I really like these headphones, they're great for noise canceling on a budget. The bass is fantastic and gives a similar feel to the Prota Pro headphones. However, the earmuffs tend to fall apart after a year or two of use. The seams may peel or the sound may stop working, regardless of how careful you are with them.

Anyway, I purchased it just before this sale for $30 and found out that the newer version uses USB-C (unlike the old one that has a micro USB). Its improved Bluetooth 5.0 (over the old 4.0) connection also has a greater range and now works in my toilet behind a closed door. I'm happy with it, for now.

ANC Operating Time: Up to 8 hours. Not impressive, even for that price. Will not even last 1 international flight to Europe.

P.S: Is it Bluetooth 4.0 or 5.0? Title description says 5.0, but detailed description 4.0

I have bought 2. Both have charging port issues, and one had pivot hinge break. I use when doing outside work and don't mind if they get damaged. They might last to 6 mo.
