I've bought a lot from Focus Camera but no longer will after a horrible experience with their customer service during a Black Friday deal. I've bought tons of knives and rifle scopes in the past- and then on Black Friday I tried to purchase another rifle scope on an amazing deal. I used my discover card, and for some reason discover flagged the purchase and texted me asking me to confirm- I replied back 'yes,' confirming I was the one who made the purchase. A couple of days later, I contacted focus camera after noticing I never received an order confirmation despite seeing the charge on my credit card account. They told me that the initial payment had expired and that they did not process the order. I asked them to honor the order and the price and they refused- $1500 scope I tried to buy for $999 on Black Friday. They told me the best they could do was 5% off. Yeah- ok… their customer service rep on the phone was an incredibly disrespectful asshole who hung up on me after I told them that what I was experiencing was really poor and disappointing customer service— I will never give these guys another dime again… (I will be posting this to every SD thread about a Focus Camera deal that I see because F 'em for screwing over a loyal customer on a BS error on their part.)

You dont need the solar at all. But good deal.
You can get a non solar version from GPS nation for $390 no tax.

I just retired my 6X Pro in favor of the epix pro deal from last week at $350.

I'm pretty disappointed in the resale potential of my 6X Pro. I'll be lucky to net $240 currently with lots of used mint condition options on eBay for $250-280. Paid $500 for it a few months before the 7's came out.

Yes, that's true. But so is the cost.
The only difference could be the accuracy of the parameters it tests. I'm hoping that since Amazfit has been around for many years now their algorithms are more robust and the differences would not be as much.
Having said as much I'd definitely have bought an Epix pro 2 for 350 despite the higher cost.

Oh yeah, that deal was amazing and I saw some lucky SD members stating the order went through and some got canceled immediately. I remember that deal now, but it was for the 42mm model. It would've been amazing if that price was for the bigger models.

I went from a 6x pro to an epix pro gen2 and all I can say is wow. The screen is cramazing.

Now I just have to find a buyer for the old 6x. 🤣
