I just bought the new RG35xx plus... just came out and supposedly the best price for technically but we will see. Custom OS is being worked on. Out of the box its still ready to play. Cost me $85 on Amazon and I'm buying a few more from China for around $70.

On top of that, I'm contemplating going large with a piboy but it would come out to around $200 total. I don't regret saving money on a cheaper option because I want the wifi option to play 2 player games with other units. Great for Mario kart, bubble bobble, rampage, and contra for starters but sooooooo much more. I'm just happy I can play tetris around the holidays again and remind me of the mid 90s

R36S for the same price on Ali Express, or less with coupons. Got 2 for $36 Each for black friday. Same device. Better Joysitck placement. Don't fall for the posted device being deeply discounted. This is an old device been around for a while now. If this goes under $40 then its a deal. They will probably ship it from China anyway so you might as well get it from Ali Express. Read reviews on the store you are buying from. I have not had any issues but I know people are paranoid about Ali Express. Stay Away from Temu I got weird credit card charges so I will never use it again.

Just get a clamp on controller for your android phone, which has way more memory, a bigger way better screen, way better speakers, a real OS, and current emulators available on the play store. You get access to Retroarch, which is worth whatever price difference.

Much better to support Razer buying a Kishi than these shady Chicom companies which package pirated software with their goods.

I just bought the new plus version as well off Amazon. It's about $85 there. With my $50 credit, I paid $45. I get it Sun. It's my Xmas gift to myself, one of them. Reviews seem good.

I plan on using it on my gaming monitor and or when I'm out and about or on a trip.

The R35S/R36S have good internals and screens, but they have poor controls; DPads need some modding as do the buttons. The controller quality on Abernic/Miyoo devices are better.

Any of these decent for people with big hands? I bought one years ago but it was smaller than a gameboy pocket and impossible to use for long without hand cramps
