EDIT: It's working, need US IP.
Big upgrade from instinct solar in other features.
I honestly don't use touch very often. If they release an instinct 3 with latest features that would be solid.
While I like the flashlight, not sure how much I'd value paying extra for it in a watch, I'd use the backlight on my instinct (at 50%) if I needed light, but it is very convenient.
I do think Sapphire screen is worth it, the screen is right there and I bang it on everything. Otherwise for sure buy packs of tempered glass protectors.
My experience with instinct suggests solar is a gimmick unless you work landscaping, are a lifeguard, etc
Other pros: topo maps are solid for quick reference, and I'm excited to dive into another hobby with making my own watch faces
