This was $1200 on black friday, so if I was in the market of low end/mid tier gaming laptop - I'd bite. The only downside is RAM is soldered, and the GPU is underpowered for the screen res. If you're ok with playing in lower res than native, this would be a great choice.

The reason why people say to avoid fixed visuals is not because changing the pixel is what is causing the burn in, it's because if you have fixed visuals it causes those to wear at a different rate from the rest of the screen. So it ends up sticking out as the rest of the screen evenly burns in.
In summary - OLED burn is 100% going to happen, only way to prolong OLED is minimize brightness (as long as it's not max 100% it should be fine).
