The OLED screen looks amazing. I saw it in person at Bestbuy and the glossy screen doesn't bother me much.

This was $1200 on black friday, so if I was in the market of low end/mid tier gaming laptop - I'd bite. The only downside is RAM is soldered, and the GPU is underpowered for the screen res. If you're ok with playing in lower res than native, this would be a great choice.

Nice screen and high Rez but only has 4060 which is only good for 1080p gaming. Oled with dedicated graphic in a 14" frame you will get hit with battery life. Great for plug in creator laptop

To dispel misunderstandings, OLED burn in occurs by material fatigue in the organic material. This fatigue is a combination of how many hours the pixel is turned on and how bright it emits. So if you want to reduce burn in, you need to minimize max brightness. Note, there is no 'chance' of burn in. It's 100% going to happen as it's just a measure of how much fatigue the pixel has dealt with.

The reason why people say to avoid fixed visuals is not because changing the pixel is what is causing the burn in, it's because if you have fixed visuals it causes those to wear at a different rate from the rest of the screen. So it ends up sticking out as the rest of the screen evenly burns in.

In summary - OLED burn is 100% going to happen, only way to prolong OLED is minimize brightness (as long as it's not max 100% it should be fine).
I've been using an OLED tv as a monitor for five years and have zero issues. All monitors eventually die. CRTs have their phosphors decay. Plasmas burn out. LCD backlights lose brightness. If we are talking image retention, they all do that as well.

This guy used this laptop to play games in native resolution and not 1080p, getting over 60 fps, especially if he turned on DLSS, frame generation, and/or balanced/performance mode on the laptop.

That's not much memory for something you can't upgrade later.. it doesn't leave you much headroom.

Slept on it, thought it over, and made the purchase. With 2 stacking codes, total came out to be $984 for me before tax.

Way too good of a deal for this portable, thin, lightweight gaming laptop with an awesome OLED screen. Peace

Just sharing that I've not had good luck with Lenovo amd cpu+nvidia card combos. The drivers compete and lots of BSOD unless things are installed and kept up to date in a very specific manner. I'm sticking with intel+nvidia moving forward.
