It's not just mandarin oranges from China, it's a "Product of China". That usually means totally produced there and shipped here.

Agreed. Stevia is a natural sweetener but still tastes bad. Who knows what to believe but I saw some researcher saying Stevia was back on the board with regards to possibly causing cancer: https://www.upstate.edu/news/arti...5-perl.php

But all in all it sounds like when consumed at a moderate level there is low threat, but still tastes like crap.
