This Vivobook 15.6": 4GB more RAM, touchscreen, backlit keyboard, lighter and smaller
That Vivobook 16": brighter and little bit larger display, newer 16:10 aspect ratio (gaining vertical space for documents) and 4% higher screen-to-body ratio (86%), better multi-core performance
I understand that touchscreen (can skip using the mouse and touchpad) and backlit KB (for dark environment) are critical features for some users, so it depends....

Yes, 1x HDMI 1.4
FYI, the USB-C is only for data transfer, i.e. no charging and DP

Also, still including "p" when talking about resolution on a laptop or any lcd/led is also a crime.
And jump on this deal? Or am I missing something? Sorry, just an old history teacher who knows little about this stuff.

I would definitely NOT jump on this deal.

Also the AMD processor is substantially faster than the Intel processor and multitasking… And I'm single process there about the same.
There is a little bit more memory on the Intel one but 12 GB should be plenty for your needs I would imagine.
The big thing here is that you're getting a touchscreen if that matters to you
