I live in Canada and commute by ice skate. These are decent commuter skates.

Renting skates is like sending your feet to Guantanamo bay. I've never had a comfortable pair of rental skates in my life and we go 4 or 5 times a year to the rink here in Florida.

I live in MN and it's really common for people to skate on lakes/ponds or public outdoor rinks. Of course not common in most of the country.

Skates with no purpose? Unless you have a pond in your yard you might as well just rent.

Most years! This year we've had 1" of snow so far and several days in the 50s in December, not complaining that's for sure.

I have an older K2 model that I 've used for the past 5 years and they are very good recreational skates and are pretty comfortable . Renting iPOS rental skates is asking for athlete's foot (not to mention they are usually crap)

Wow, what cheap skates!

^ That will probably be the only time in my life I get to say that and mean it literally.

But really, this is like concerningly cheap. If the reviews are good, that's probably a pretty good purchase if you go skating with any regularity, even if it's just once or twice a year.

I've had a pair of K2 ice skates for the past 10 years (paid approx. the same price as this deal) and used them hundreds of times. Very comfortable boot for recreational skating. In for another pair. Thanks OP.

Size 11 fits me well and my shoe size is 10.5
K2's are more true-to-size than hockey skates

You commute by ice skate? As a Canadian living in the US, I have to say that this statement without further context and details furthers a Canadian stereotype that is not typical of the average Canadian. 🤪
