Walmart has A119 mini2 for $99 which I just ordered, also used 5% CSR offer. Amazon had it for $110 after coupon

Came from V1 just like you. After it died, I was considering between the V2 mini and this. Ended up buying this on Black Friday. My reasonings. First, it's the third version so all the kinks have been worked out. The V1 had quite a few quirks. Second, while having instant access to the video from your phone is super convenient, I don't see myself using it too often, so it's not super important to me. Then there is the price. I just wanted a cheap dashcam that works well mainly for insurance purpose if I ever get into an accident. For the price, you can do a lot worse. Only thing I worry is longevity. My V1 lasted about 3 years and finally died this summer due to the intense heat wave we had in Texas. Finally, it has the same connection as the V1. I just plug in and it's ready to go without having to set new wiring up again. BTW, it's been great. Picture quality is much better than the V1, much cleaner and clearer.
Just bought this on Black Friday for same price as this. I previously had the V1 for several years and it worked great. After I bought this, I did some more research and wish I had bought the A119 mini V2 due to Bluetooth/wifi capabilities to the phone as well as other features. It was only $20-$30 more. That being said, this one is still a great dash cam.

The A119 Mini 2 which has the latest Sony sensor, was on a lightning sale on Amazon earlier this week for $89. I would have snagged it, but I hadn't had time to research dash cams. Well, after some research, figured out the Mini 2 is probably the way to go, will wait for another sale, tough to install in dead of winter anyway.
