Walmart has A119 mini2 for $99 which I just ordered, also used 5% CSR offer. Amazon had it for $110 after coupon

VIOFO Mini Dash Cam Front A119 Mini 2, STARVIS 2 Sensor, 2K 60fps/HDR 30fps Voice Control Car Dash Camera with 5GHz Wi-Fi GPS, Night Vision 2.0, 24H Parking Mode, Supercapacitor, Support 512GB Max https://www.walmart.com/ip/3797551467
Came from V1 just like you. After it died, I was considering between the V2 mini and this. Ended up buying this on Black Friday. My reasonings. First, it's the third version so all the kinks have been worked out. The V1 had quite a few quirks. Second, while having instant access to the video from your phone is super convenient, I don't see myself using it too often, so it's not super important to me. Then there is the price. I just wanted a cheap dashcam that works well mainly for insurance purpose if I ever get into an accident. For the price, you can do a lot worse. Only thing I worry is longevity. My V1 lasted about 3 years and finally died this summer due to the intense heat wave we had in Texas. Finally, it has the same connection as the V1. I just plug in and it's ready to go without having to set new wiring up again. BTW, it's been great. Picture quality is much better than the V1, much cleaner and clearer.
Just bought this on Black Friday for same price as this. I previously had the V1 for several years and it worked great. After I bought this, I did some more research and wish I had bought the A119 mini V2 due to Bluetooth/wifi capabilities to the phone as well as other features. It was only $20-$30 more. That being said, this one is still a great dash cam.

Excellent dashcam. I just replaced mine with the mini v2 and while that has wifi. I think this one is better video quality.

Just got the A119 Mini 2 with Starvis 2 sensor… hardwired it in a couple days ago. This thing is slick. Clear as heck nighttime recording.

The A119 Mini 2 which has the latest Sony sensor, was on a lightning sale on Amazon earlier this week for $89. I would have snagged it, but I hadn't had time to research dash cams. Well, after some research, figured out the Mini 2 is probably the way to go, will wait for another sale, tough to install in dead of winter anyway.

when it comes to drive cams, you might want to use 2 so if one fails hopefully the other was working.

Owned two of these and both encountered SD card issues. Had to constantly remove the SD card and format it on my computer. It supposed to erase the older video but doesn't no matter what type of SD card I used

How are license plates at night/ in rain? To me that is the buy or no buy criteria. I have a rather expensive 2ch setup on my toy, I've been eyeing this for the daily after checking out some horrible offerings from Amazon. I swear, some of the "1080p" cams look 10 times worse than the first 720p dash cam I ever bought.

Great dash cam that I paired with a SanDisk endurance MicroSD card. Been running for over two years, haven't needed to touch it and video quality is great. Highly recommend.

FYI these all die within a year. order 2 last year and both aren't working now.
What? I had A119 for 3+ years now. Upgraded to A229 Pro and put the A119 on the other car and I'm in TX where it gets super hot in the summer. Never had any issues except with A229 Pro not liking any other card except Sandisk Endurance or Endurance Max cards (Viofo specifically recommends these cards). But with A119 I use Samsung Pro Endurance without any issues.

I've this and really good. With long wire it's easy to hide wiring.

Though I advise to also add rear cam as there is more possibility of getting hit from back (especially in not your fault situation).
