The 5GHz is the same, the 2.4GHz is twice s fast.
The WRX36 also have a 2.5Gbit uplink port.
The Asus probably lacks Wireguard support, due to the age of the Linux kernel used by Broadcom.
As far as the difference between the AX3000 and the AX82U it's all about the number of streams. The AX3000 ix 2x2 on the 5ghz and the AX82U is 4x4 on 5ghz. So the AX82u is only going to be faster with a 3x3 or 4x4 client or if multiple user mimo is actually working.
