For anyone that doesn't know already, these are known for being super spicy. If you type in "fire noodle challenge" into YouTube you can get an idea of people's reactions.


The Cabonara one is also on sale for $6.88 at Walmart. It's the perfect level of spiciness for me. It's my favorite instant noodle. The noodles are wider than Maruchan ramen, and much more umami and spice. It's enough to get your nose running and give some good burn without being insane (as long as you like spicy). Notice that Hochi is content and peaceful on the front of Carbonara while he's a fire breathing demon on the black pack.

If you only like a bit of heat in your food to give a kick to your palate, then THIS IS NOT FOR YOU! My wife bought this awhile back since it was the rave on social media. Boy, was it hot! I only made it with half the fiery sauce bag and after just trying a few spoons, our faces turned red and our tongue was burning. Couldn't finish the noodles. Guess we're just amateurs, but we'd prefer not to burn holes through our digestive tract.

Everyone is different in their receptors and how much they like the minor pain endorphins. No shame in that.

I do love that hydrochloric acid, which is the primary component of stomach acid, is in the ingredient list.

Very helpful, going to try the Cabonara. I tried the hot spicy before, it was a bit much (and, I can usually handle hot stuff)
