When I called 611 again it was a limited time promotion and I was not eligible anymore. Eventually the rep said her manager is going to put it in manually and I should receive an email in 24 hr and then call back to proceed with the order. Calling T-Mobile is one of the most annoying things each rep gives a different answer. I am also on SC so hardly ever get any offers so going to see anything changes in 24 hr.

People are saying here that credit will be 800 minus the trade in value. Shouldn't it be like trade in your device and get full 800 credit?

I believe the way it works is that if your trade-in is worth $100, then you will get a credit of $700, which will then be recovered over 24 months. If your trade-in is worth $50, you will get a credit of $750.

tmobile customer service is absolutely crap and if this offer is simply taking their word for it I would not trust it. When they switched billpay credits to non credit cards they granted me an extension. of course it didnt happen after speaking to multiple reps. I had to spend hours on the phone just to get a "goodwill" credit. trash company with crap bait and switch policies and customer service that's borderline torture

You get $800 either way. Yes, you get less of a credit for a $100 trade in because you got more for the phones value. Not too hard to comprehend.

Which is actually a good thing. The higher the value of your trade-in, the less money you will have to pay back over 24 months. If your trade in was worth $100, you will have to pay Tmo $700 over 2 years. If your trade-in was worth $50, you will have to pay TMo $750 over 2 years.
