If I may ask, how much did they add on your bill upgrading from MMax to Go5g Plus? Do you have free lines in your account? I am still contemplating to do the same because I'm afraid they mess up my 3 paid and 7 free Magenta Max plan.
I have similar lines, one less paid, and hookup and it went up a few bucks in total. And it was the newest free line from this past year that caused that. You only get charged for the paid lines which for you would be $5x3 max, but your hookup if you have it should bring that down

I would check around here and the reddit. They changed their definition of what a price lock is 3 days ago for new and plan changes. Basically no price lock, but they'll pay your last month after raising your rates if you get mad and leave. That's going backwards 20 years to Verizon forced protections.

Anyone wants to file a case?? This is BS. I ordered 2 phones with the promo. I talked to 3 reps and they all confirmed that I have the promo.
Now a billing time - they said I have $350 promo not $800. WTF !!
I know I am not the only one. Really want to file a case

Yes, this is BS as most people are in your situation. I believe this promotion was intended for a very limited number of customers with high-tier plan. But now many people who should not be qualified also got the promotion due to their BS practice. So overall, it's good chance to all of us. You just need some luck to get it. Try talking hard with T-force. If not, return the phone within the return window and move on. There is no need to get angry or waste more time on this. This is how we hunt slick deals. Sometime you win, sometime it's just waste of time.

Just wanted to chime with my slightly different (yet similar) experience regarding this supposed offer/discount. I am a Tmo customer who is grandfathered on a Simple Choice America Plan with 5 lines. I previously reached twice to the T-mo online chat about this offer, and both times the reps said I was eligible for the $800 discount. Was really hesitant in light of the headaches people have dealt with for this, so I went to a Tmo location near me. The manager said my plan was definitely not eligible for this deal.

I called T-mobile customer service today for the heck of it to see what they would say or could offer me. The CSR repeated herself several times that only the Go5G plans receive the $800 discount. After the third or fourth time, she said that they may be able to give me a "discount of $300 or more" off of a new phone. She told that she spoke with her "supervisor", but needs to speak with her Manager to see what the maximum discount they could give me. I asked what could it be, and she just repeated that they will have to look into it. She said she will reach out to me and let me know next week. SMH.

After two previous issues regarding incorrect charges to my account after adding a line (added extra data charges) and hassle activating my daughter's new phone (needed to "wait for signal"), I've lost faith in this company when it comes to "customer service". They were good at one time...

I am pretty sure BBB will contact Tmobile. The big company like Tmobile will follow up. I've done a couple of times and problem was solved. So I strongly recommend those who are having the issue.

800 promo is only one for each account. If rep can order multiple for you, that's already a bad sign.

that is not the point here.
this is like "Bait and Switch"
Did I ask multiple times before I placed an order? yes I did.
Did the CSR say i will get $800 off? yes each person I placed an order.
They all said " no worries, you will get what I told you. we will take care of it"

that is why I ordered it.
and NOW - Billing system is not allowing. so who is fault is that?
I can't even cancel it because it passed the return date and even I do, i wonder who I will get back the phone I traded in.

Bunch of crooks sitting in foreign country in T-Mobile customer service team. All are lying to get sales credit. Well trained speaking good English. This is called zero customer service and does not comply with American companies basic customer fundamentals rights.

T-Mobile as a company sucks. Cornered the market with "Uncarrier" and now jacking up the prices
