Doubt it will happen anytime soon. This one is on sale because Apple doesn't use lightning any longer on its phones. The "android " one is the iOS one now also.

I would recommend waiting for the USB one to go on sale again for 49,99 and then send it back to backbone using their warranty claim service to get the V2 USB C version that has removable inserts for big phones.

I had to do it that way because the default one wouldnt fit my iphone 15 pro max + case. With the inserts all fully removed now my phone finally fits.

So Costco main also have glitch in inventory, I wasn't expecting this from Costco but, a store where I called had 20 in stock and was about 40 min drive.

I thought I will get it for sure but manager and guy at electronics both said out of stock

If you signed up with Apple and don't have any space in your iCloud the email gets bounced back to the sender. I've been working with support at backbone to get the credit. They asked for serial number and a copy of the receipt. I sent them the info am still waiting.

Interesting. Well I have plenty of iCloud space, and still never received the email. Really regretting using Apple.

Could it have sold out during your drive? I called my local store on Christmas Eve, they had 50+, but when I arrived 15 min later there was only 20 left
