Hoarding and flipping deals isn't the nicest thing to do and definitely not something to brag about. Take what you need and leave something for your fellow slickdealers.

I've seen these used as a shoe / boot sole scrapper before entering a home.

Fools and their money are easily separated. For God's sake, people! Just lay a scrap piece of lumber on the ground.

My old neighbor used to hang a ping pong ball half filled with bird shot from the ceiling of his garage so that when the hood ornament of his car touched the ball, then he knew that he was perfectly parked. I don't think that any modern car features a hood ornament anymore.
I use a yellow plastic golf ball and align with the registration sticker in the window. This keeps me within an inch or 2 of the same spot every time.

These are great for backing a boat into a garage so you don't put the motor through the wall

Retail price of $36 isn't accurate. I bought these from there before on sale for about $3.49 I believe
Their retail price is $3.49. I posted about the $36.00 listed price being disingenuous, and what horrible stocking stuffers these would be. I maybe went a little over by saying their inability to park must be genetic if they think these are good and needed as stocking stuffers. My comment wasn't even listed as unhelpful and hidden, but disappeared/deleted entirely.

You are telling the truth. I don't know anybody that wakes up Christmas morning wishing they had $3 reflective parking block in their stocking. Even more somebody breathlessly excited about stuffing it in people's stockings. It would, however, indicate that there would be some kind of genetics involved with a lack of cognitive thinking and general motor skills amongst these people.

Most people use a tennis ball and place it so the ball taps the windshield. Modern cars still have those. Wink

Another way is to mark the side walls and match side mirrors to that. I use that as reference in my car. No hanging balls or something to trip over on garage floor.
I do the same!

So hang it to touch the windshield. We used rubber kids play balls for decades.

Don't people turn their heads right or left and find a point of reference?? I even use where my car door will swing open as a reference. Why do you need all these gimmicks?

Gimmicky, maybe. There are a lot of bad drivers and terrible parkers. Old people need additional assistance. Distractions, bad drivers/parkers, basically a guarantee that you are parked inside fully, not going to hit anything in front of you, and the garage door will close behind you without worry.

I have a hanging ball on a string with hooks in the ceiling for my wife. The ball comes down when the door is opened where she can line her steering wheel center to the ball and when it touches the windshield she's good. Close the garage and the ball goes back up to the ceiling. That is for me so when she's not parked in the garage and I'm working in it, I don't have a ball hanging in the way while I work.

Many people do that same thing with a old tennis ball.
Isn't there a commercial where a dog are the driver, then he goes crazy by the hanging tennis ball?

Corner lot at . . at a 4-way stop intersection . . next to an elementary school (bought 35 yrs ago - Who knew - I didn't). School has grown 10x size (Do Not buy a home in Fla next to a school). To many A..H...e 'parents?' think my drive is a short cut around crossing guard when she stops traffic as a way to 'cut the line'. Parent drivers hate me (good), crossing guard luv's me, kids (are kids) and have no idea what is going on (bless them). Tried various methods to keep the cars out of my driveway.
Hope installing these across my drive will keep cars from endangering the children who use my driveway, to avoid the 4-way corner and traffic, within my property lines (yea, sucky legal stuff) will help keep cars out. Worth trying.
Thank you, ScottB2669.
Oh, gonna put in front of driveway screen porch and brick flower boxes to keep me from backing into them. (Yea, in case you haven't figured it out yet - 2015 Chev Malibu withOut a cam. Yes, lots of bumper touch ups.)
I have said my peace. Hope it works for me. Let us Slicker's know
Doubt it will be effective. Have you tried a few of those deer scaring motion detecting sprinklers? Aim one for the windshield, another for the drivers side window, and a third for their passenger side window. Just shut off the hose when you leave so you don't wet your own car. Might even keep rooftop solar panel salesmen away too.

do you have trouble with parking lol
For someone who has a smaller garage, setting up some type a guide/marker can make sure you consistently getting the maximal amount of free space (thought I'd still choose a tennis ball over something like this). It's handy if you have a small garage and still want to have some sort of work area available; every little bit of free space makes counts and a marker lets consistently make sure you're not pulling your car forward anymore than is needed to safely close down the garage door.
