Good deal but you can probably wait a bit for a laptop with a better CPU (maybe Ryzen 9) and better GPU (4070) for not that much more money (around $900-$1000).

I literally can't wait for next year's deals. I'm really hoping that 40-super cards come to laptops by then.
Kinda what I'm thinking of doing. Grabbed me a 16 inch M1 Pro as everyday laptop w some capable games. Wait til a mega sale on a loaded 4070/4080 next year

Up to you. I'd get the better gpu if I were connecting to an external display. If I'm using the laptop itself, give me the screen quality.

Also, I returned and exchanged about 5 laptops last xmas looking for the right unit and price. Lenovo is miles better than Asus build quality and customer support.

This ships from Antonline.com, so while Walmart ships it back for you, Walmart doesn't handle returns. Read the reviews on Antonline. Costco and Microcenter have earned good reputations for customer service. Paying $50 more for a potential nightmare isn't slick.

Avoid Lenovo like the plague. Unreliable products and nonexistent support, especially on their non business products like the Legion series. "Tech support" is a call center in India that can actually do nothing or make any decisions for you, they only create tickets on your behalf for the US based team to maybe call you back in a week just to tell you they won't help you. If you do get one, get a warranty through a 3rd party, not through Lenovo as they will refuse to honor it and there's nothing you can do.

Get the better, smaller, lighter Legion 5 with an OLED screen for a bit more.

Worse thermals and performance is the trade off you get for SLIGHTLY lighter weight and thickness. For some people that is great, for others not. But it's not a strict upgrade.

Wouldn't touch an ASUS, the Lenovo Legion series has much higher build quality. Also assuming it's the $980 tuf, that Intel CPU in it is going to create heat issues for the chassis and will either throttle, throttle the GPU or both. I doubt you would see much of a difference in real world performance between this Lenovo and the TUF, but the Legion screen, ports being out the back (If you have never had this before, you never go back, it's a game changer imo), solid keyboard, solid trackpad. It's really hard to beat this Legion and that ASUS doesn't come close imo even if they were the same price.

Hard to argue this point; I personally wouldn't go with AntOnline...

Also, unless you're piping out to an external monitor, don't expect amazing FPS on this 1440p screen, even with DLSS on. 4060 is the sweet spot for 1080p gaming, IMO.

Hey Adam or anyone who might know! What do u mean by "Don't expect amazing FPS on this screen, even with DLSS". What's FPS & how does DLSS support? I am sitting on fence about which one to get btwn the ASUS Tuff with better GPU or this one with better I don't know how much better Screen sharpness?, but I really do need a 1 TB, Can u guys send me a link on that deal where I can get a 1 TB? If there's any good deal rt now that can match the Costco deal on the MAC w/ the 1420 price I recall where there was a M2 chip? I think it was 14"Mac Pro. If there's anything with 512GB Mac on M2 chip or do u think M3 is necessary? Also was hoping someone could recommend what Samsung Android phones are good deals to look at or wait for? I'm interested in S23 Pro or Should I consider Pro+ for extra 10 or is the stylus not worth it? Do u think VZN or going with T-Mobile is better? Let me know if going with US Mobile or any of cheaper telecoms are worth diving into. I hate that I can't call anyone for tech help if I have a problem so Visible seems good but not much customer support? What do u think of Metro by T-Mobile monthly $40 fee? I get worried I might use up all the data too quickly!? I need a good price for monthly but don't want to be stuck with no fallback on customer support if I should need it- Unless u're really happy, satisfied w/ just online chat support. I feel that even cheap MVON should support a few hrs of phone calls support so. Pls let me know also how can I get an automated link to this page when someone replies to my ❓ How can I keep track of this?
Pls do feel free to introduce any DeLL laptops u think can also come close to this specs but with 1 TB? & is this touch screen? What's the Pros & cons of getting a touch screen enabled vs a better GPU vs. a sharper display screen? Is there any bigger sized monitor u recommend if I should pipe this laptop? I think 27" is enough 4 my table Unless u think 32" or 34" display with good sharpness is available for under or up to $330 ( that's like including taxes which in NY is 8.375% I think or should I take the train & try to really purchase the desired model on NJ? But it's all very hard to coordinate all these pieces to be successfully happening on 1 day I guess since I have to rely on a friend to drive me back with all these items. Doubt that I can get both the perfect choice Mac vs
Lenovo Legion (or a better DELL Inspiron (with Touchpad), or Gaming one?)+ Monitor in one day.+ Phone! If there is a phone deal available with Samsung S23 Pro or if u think I should try for the Apple iPhone 15 Pro, or Plus or just dive in for the 15Pro with SOS warning + AI chip enable? I'm kinda feeling so overwhelmed with all these specs but I realize it will matter in the long run how my machines will be performing when I push them to do both Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, & U need to do more Excel charts & PowerPoint slides, & save alot of PDF's. I'm not s big gamer so I was just thinking the specs for gaming are good for Adobe Photoshop & maybe doing Podcast audiobooks & watching Live streaming TV & Editing, Adobe Premiere Pro? Any outreach feedback would be appreciated 👍! If there's a place in here where we can direct msg each other for any phone contact here from members, let me know? I do need some serious discussions on how much computer tools, specs I can get up to for a spend of up to $2500 or somewhere less or so. ( Including getting a phone on a good deal if buying outright is better or monthly breakdown is better? I kinda hate that they are no longer discounted $5 with credit card, Anyone recommend a bank to do these debit cards with fir monthly phone discount or do u think Cash app is good to try? I'm fuzzy on all these Google pay or direct pay from Venmo or anything u guys like that's not going to take all my $ out of my bank by accidentally overcharging? Pls help!
