You will want to get a pixel blade (it has little LEDs throughout the blade and is much brighter than a baselit one which is basically a flashlight that shines up through the blade.) there are a few versions of the pixle, pixle V3 ($80-120), pixel V4 ($90-140) and Proffie Pixel ($180-250). Obviously the Proffie is the best, looks and sounds the best, has the best blade animations, but the V3 and V4 are still amazing. I own all of them including a few baselit ones and I have to say getting any pixel set up is the way to go, you will be over the moon. You feel like a jedi! It sounds so good and at night feels so cool. Spend the same amount of money on the good stuff, and you will never regret it!

We truly are in the worst timeline
There were some pretty bad storylines in the OG books but the original Thrawn trilogy and the Yuuzhan Vong arc were pretty epic.

Thanks man for the good words. And you are right about not wanting to retype my entire message for people wanting to buy a lightsaber, I did post the same thing on a similar deal. But like you I have done a stupid amount of research on things I really don't need but enjoy, and spent my money on it. If you are looking for an amazing lightsaber something that feels and sounds as close to the real thing as possible is one from Ali express. Do your own research, watch YouTube reviews, just don't buy an this FX one. It's not nearly as bright, it's movement sound is not as fluid and doesn't have the ability to change sound fonts or blade colors.
