Thanks, I got it to $2242.30 OTD to 85249 with the coupon after sales tax, with no Allstate warranty
I can get it for $2670.38 OTD from Costco with 5-year warranty (I know, I know, burn in NOT covered), and a $200 Costco GC (who can't easily use a Costco GC?).
Is $228.08 more for peace of mind from Costco worth it? For you to decide.
I do know I bought a new 65" Samsung TV from Costco 6 months ago that had bad audio through HDMI1 out of the box. New stuff fails. It was easy to return to Costco and get another one same day.
For a couple hundred bucks, I'm sticking with Costco. This is not a thumbs down for me.

Costco is worth the premium. They're rock solid with customer service and returns and I want the piece of mind, especially with a OLED.

Allstate protection is really hard to work with. I had a LG OLED55CX break down on me during coverage. They offered me only cheap 55" LED TVs as a replacement. They finally offered me a Samsung 65" Q70, to which I said no way. I told them I would accept the similarly priced 65" Hisense U8K, and they said it needs to be like quality, size, and features... and that they couldn't replace my 55" with a 65" after clearly offering me a similarly priced 65" TV. I mentioned that they haven't offered me a single TV of like quality or features. I was baffled. After a week of this back and forth, they finally agreed to send me a check. I am convinced it will be nowhere near even the second-hand value of the LG CX, and I will need to ask them for more.

Which hasn't been a real concern in years unless you're heavily abusing the TV
So even if it did it wouldn't be worth an extra $250-300 over other places pricing (SC factored in)
