They would have sold a ton of these if they had just put them on sale sooner.

You realize that it doesn't matter how many watts the power supply can deliver, it only uses what is necessary. As in, a PC will only use let's say 450 watts regardless of whether there is a 500 watt or a 1,000 watt power supply in it.

Wow "Lifemart" employee discounts are a joke, it's listed at $1,289 and says this coupon code is not valid, wtf was hoping it'd be even cheaper. Oh well
I got it through Lifemart 2-3 months ago for $1,244 shipped. Probably a timing issue. Seems like they and Dell flip flop between the discounts for EPP or whatever are better/worse than regular coupons.

They had this same exact computer on sale during Black Friday for $1232 and there was also a 10% cash back offer at the time from a well known site. I know because I bought it.

This computer has been this price for a month. The thing is people are looking for deals that aren't there.

seems odd in 2023 to only have 1 USB-C port

but this looks like a really good deal.

What's the gpu comparison for the 4070 ?
7800 xt roughly, slightly slower, but better power usage and ray tracing.

It does seem to be cutting it close if not a little over. I wonder if they use a custom 4070 which does already have low power usage, or maybe the tdp is set low on the cpu, which could cut it down to 65-125 watts depending on the settting and would only effect gaming a little. But ya, thats the first thing which would probably need to be upgraded in 4 years with a new gpu.

For me to buy, I'd need 750 watt, 32gb ram, and 1tb hd.

I have this model with intel. Why not only 500w. Costs less to run, less ambient heat, easier to cool. What's the downside unless you want to get a 5080 later on
500w is more than enough lol i have an 850w for a rtx4090

Would a 650w psu be enough for 7800 XT and i7- 13700 system?

500W seems low for this type of GPU. Asus for example recommends 650W minimum for this combination of CPU and GPU. Good deal overall but be prepared to replace the PSU with a better one down the line, especially if you're going to overclock or add new components like additional hard drives.

No one knows the recommended specs and the release dates could be pushed back further. That being said, I can't see them making the game requiring a high end pc. Rockstar wants to sell as many copies as possible and this machine should be more than capable.
