They would have sold a ton of these if they had just put them on sale sooner.

You realize that it doesn't matter how many watts the power supply can deliver, it only uses what is necessary. As in, a PC will only use let's say 450 watts regardless of whether there is a 500 watt or a 1,000 watt power supply in it.

Not seeing the 10% cashback site as of now.
It expired. The offer had a one-hour time clock to expiration when I saw it, and it was for all registered users, not just new users.

I have about a 4 year old computer that was top of the line then. It has a i9 and a 2080ti....would this be an upgrade or downgrade?

As I told you in the last thread... Google "your CPU vs. This one" and same for your graphics card.... You'll find out plenty of info that way. ... not hard to do your own homework

I have this model with intel. Why not only 500w. Costs less to run, less ambient heat, easier to cool. What's the downside unless you want to get a 5080 later on
It costs less to run? Is that correct? I didn't think so

I'm confused because according to the rep I just chatted with the maximum amount of ram is 32gb. Total, not per slot.
That's what they offer, not the maximum capacity and Lenovo Psref site very clearly specify it. I know couple of people using 64GB With this model.

Decent deal for those without a microcenter nearby.
Otherwise you can get a 7800x3d + mobo + 32 ram for 500, 4070 for 500, and 200 should easily cover case/ssd/psu/pcworld.com windows license if you must.

The GPU is an upgrade but I'd say not a substantial one

Don't buy Lenovo products. I spent $1,400 on a Legion and has had soundcard issues and system crashing since day one. The Legion monitor I bought has no working buttons so I cant adjust any settings on it. Both Legion products were defective trash. I don't buy the Lenovo hype after that experience.

I can refute this. I bought this system 2-3 months ago and am running 48GB in it right now.
What Ram did you end up getting..? I can't really find a clear answer, I did see the Q/A on Lenovo's site but again. Anyhow, do you have a link or what you used, thanks. I got this machine a few months ago too & cloned the M.2.

I've been eyeballing this Ram to get..? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NCPT...d0INT&th=1 CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM 32GB

ps, I have 40 in Lenovo rewards & can't find anything worth a darn to get.. been hoping the Anywhere mouse goes on sale.

I was also checking RAM kits and ended up with TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 5600MHz
78 usd right now at Amazon.
The ones you mentioned I think are only Intel compatible so you'd need AMD Expo variant as this build uses AMD chipset. The ones I bought are both Intel and AMD compatible.

The rep doesn't know … they're not engineers… there are 4 slots on the motherboard, each slot capped at 32gb would be my guess
