I don't think it's a glitch and it's been working.

They still make their money. It's just sony only allows it to be sold for a certain advertised price. This gets around that rule....

A7iv and Sony 85mm F1.8 is good enough for portrait for beginner. The kit lens is Ok but not giving the picture quality you expect.

It's a very good deal, but also overkill. I've seen the a7iii advertised for $1200 multiple places. Spend $800-$1000 on nice used glass and you have a great and modern kit to last for years.
