This is one of the worst Sony mirrorless cameras. Overheating and plenty of defective parts like sensor issues as well..Take it from someone who bought 2 and both had major defects.

Is Excellent much much better or is Good condition fine? Not familiar with Best Buy's categories for open-box, and no Excellent in stock in my area. B&H has new models for $1750 with the EDU discount incl a spare battery, so not sure if I should pony up $100 more for that or this is good enough

Picked up fair condition kit, comes without lens but bestbuy CS says I can get one later from the store. Some dust on sensor observed. Also picked up the white lens.

The price is reddit photomarket price plus warranty and even lower shutter count. What grab do people expect when prices will significantly rise and already rise in grey market.

Is greentoe still accepting $1800 for this? Without tax and a new unit would be a better deal than this.

Some one just reported r6ii deal is dead. I would prefer that for specs but I don't like canon ergonomic on better cameras. I think 6ave is very cautious now from prices shown and my amazon resale orders from 3rd party get cancelled or are not shipped for days from Amazon fulfillment.

That's what they want. People to hoard and panic buy into their credit lines and dump cash bc some tarrif without even thinking this is all a ploy to bump q2 earnings.

By the time q4 hits all them tariffs long gone.

Bought my open box with the kit lens for $1588. Looked brand new and had everything. I also bought the Tamron G2 28-75mm for $549 (no tax no shipping cost) on GreenToe. This deal was a no brainer to me even if the camera is going on "4 years old". Loved my A7iii back in the day with that lens. Still competes with the best.
