Absolutely fabulous deal, same setup without receiver is $1900 in another SD. That's a cheap A8A on top of that.

Probably not. The 2nd version isn't gonna be that huge of a difference.

Would these be a decent upgrade over Polk signature line? I have S55 towers, S30 center, and s20 surrounds.

Yes, especially for movies/home theater.

I went from Polk Monitor Series ii to the entry level Klipsch Icon series, and that was a massive upgrade. Now I have Klipsch RP series - if you upgrade directly to RP series, you can't go wrong.

Possibly not. The polks will have a more neutral/warm sound signature. Klipsch are known for being harsh/fatiguing.

I have been using my quintet IV for about 8-years…I love them! Are any of these new setups worth the upgrade/what is the benefit on these larger systems - just louder, more clear, etc…? I know they will be better than my quintet, but wonder who these systems are marketed towards.

I haven't personally listened but I've read and watched online it is an improvement for sure but it seemed more evolutionary than revolutionary. I mean if you could sell your I's for II's for little loss than probably worth it.

Everyone will have a different opinion there but I'm personally saving to move to RF-7 IIIs and RC-64 III as that's gonna be a much bigger jump for me. at some point the surrounds and rears moving to II's makes sense though I'm sure.

I went from Polk Monitor 70s II 8" to Klipsch Reference 82IIs 8" with RC-62 center and I heard so much more dialogue and details in music with the same receiver it was astonishing. If it is too 'bright' as some people say, calibrate your system.
