Discovery has been quality but pricey while these best choice science kits have just been ok. Instructions are poor and the results have been mediocre.

One that I recommend is National Geographic kits. The volcano one is $8 at target and fun to build https://www.target.com/p/national...A-53580848
It has real plaster mold vs whatever this thing is. Or get the stunning science series (chemistry or earth science) $14 at Blaine's
Idk how it compares to the Discovery sets but the reviews are pretty bad so I'm gona pass but for $10 it might be ok

For $10, seems good for a quick little project and conversation starter. My boys will enjoy.

$10 worth of stuff for $10. Not really a deal. This isn't $42 retail. Just a tactic to make people think they're getting a good price on it. All you're getting are the plastic pieces, a few wires, and some single use chemicals.

Who knew launching recycled materials 80ft high could be so affordable? Just don't aim for the neighbor's yard! 🚀
