I am curious if any SDer encountered the data loss issue?
i wouldnt get this, great price but i have one and mine is failing after a year
I have been researching lately on different storage solutions, and one thing about this line is that no one really seems to have nailed down what the issue is, whether its a hardware problem (some Austrian company said it was and then someone else said it wasn't), firmware, how it was formatted on a Mac (HFS+, APFS, etc etc), ... so again, I certainly wouldn't have this drive as the only backup of family photos kinda thing... or certain production runs ... and of course WD/Sandisk are denying most if not all...
It's a shame, and I'm probably an idiot for getting one... but using it in the "temp" data shuttle situation where backups are already prevalent... sigh...
