This is a solid deal. I've had this exact blower for years and love it. Left it in the rain a few times too. This will not blow wet leaves from your yard or even clear your whole yard. This is mostly for cleaning hard surfaces.
U triggered my inner beavis and butthead
Only RYOBI tool I'll purchase are outdoor tool. I had a RYOBI 40v for 7 years still going strong, did get the new 40v leaf wispher l leaf blower with turbo recently. It was so powerful. Tried the 18v version, I am sorry to say it's suck doesn't blown leaf's like the 40v l. maybe some fine dish. Wouldn't recommend this 18v leaf blower for outdoor & garden work. I'd avoid this get just get 40v

Shipping of $14.99 kills the deal though.

Blemished essentially means same as what you see at Home Depot but they can't advertise it as such. Should be new with new warranty.

Refurbished means repaired. I'm not sure what a refurbed battery is.

18v seems low power - greenworks 40v is min for clearing leafs of backyard - better get 80v to be even safer

I have this tool for a few years for occasional use of blowing dust and leafs off driveway. I also use it as dust buster to clean inside of desktop computer. It has worked pretty well. The blow is analog that you can control the amount of blow air/force thru the analog trigger. The only problem I have is the black end piece/extender is hard to remove once clipped to the main unit. I usually remove it for space saving. Otherwise, it has worked perfectly.

Just an advice. For the leaves (especially a good amount of wet leaves) forget about cordless. Seriously. Either get a corded electric or gas-powered one, otherwise it will be nothing, but frustration.

I have a wooden backyard, and every autumn it takes few rounds to blow all the leaves away. I went through the number of leaf blowers, and ended up with the corded Worx WG520 (one with the turbine). Can certainly recommend this model, if you struggle or undecided. Make sure to couple it with a long extension cord as well.

You do realize voltage just translates into how fast the motor rotates, right?

Rotational frequency in a leaf blower just means more consistent blowing, not more powerful blowing.

If the overall amperage draw isn't any higher, then voltage means nothing for this particular tool.

Using a leaf blower to dust out your computer is a great way to damage every loose part and introduce a ton of static electricity.

This has to be a troll post.

I use this Ryobi to dry the car off after washing. It's good for blowing out all of hidden water that leaves drip marks like mirrors and tailgate latches.

Wet heavy leaves or just a pile of leaves a regular old rake is faster. It's so funny I see my neighbors with these cordless blowers out there for hours trying to blow leaves 100' and I get out there use my corded blower then use my rake and I'm done in 20 minutes. Sometimes a rake is just faster

I have a 40V model and it is juuuuuuuust strong enough to be useful on the lawn. I can imagine this being useful for other things though:
  • Replacing a broom for cleaning off your porch/patio/etc
  • Blowing dog hair out of your car
  • Cleaning out your dusty fans
  • Drying your car after you wash it so you don't get streaks
Probably not useful for:
  • Things involving your lawn

This is a good blower, I blow dry leaf, not a problem. But the blades and fan hub are plastic. Dont drop it. It is easy & cheap to replace. Take out about 36 hex screws.

Shipping kills it if you order one.

I have a 40v model and it's 10x stronger imo.

But, I use this little guy 90% of time for everything light stuff. It's so much lighter more convenient
