This is a solid deal. I've had this exact blower for years and love it. Left it in the rain a few times too. This will not blow wet leaves from your yard or even clear your whole yard. This is mostly for cleaning hard surfaces.

Only RYOBI tool I'll purchase are outdoor tool. I had a RYOBI 40v for 7 years still going strong, did get the new 40v leaf wispher l leaf blower with turbo recently. It was so powerful. Tried the 18v version, I am sorry to say it's suck doesn't blown leaf's like the 40v l. maybe some fine dish. Wouldn't recommend this 18v leaf blower for outdoor & garden work. I'd avoid this get just get 40v

Looks like a good deal. Thanks. Grabbed one for light general cleaning use, not yardwork.

This is a good blower, I blow dry leaf, not a problem. But the blades and fan hub are plastic. Dont drop it. It is easy & cheap to replace. Take out about 36 hex screws.

Shipping kills it if you order one.

This same package is $150 at Home Depot. With shipping it's half the price for a basically brand new item. I don't see how shipping kills it.

This good for drying cars? Is it powerful enough?
not really imo. 40v is what you want.

I have the older 18V from two years ago and the 40V kit I bought a year ago. I gave Mom the 18V because it's weak. She can use it lightly. Not good in the yard unless you have it mowed like a putting green. I could get the leaves in the yard with my 40V with taller grass that needed to be mowed, like 6-8" grass, but it still struggles like a corded. About the same power. The gas leaf blowers are definitely the best! Even the cheapest one, but I recommend 0% ethanol and fuel stabilizer.

I'm not saying not to get this, definitely worth the price, should be able to sell it for your money back, at the least, but understand the limitations. Great for blowing dust out of my van, but it still didn't get all the stuff stuck to the Rhinolined floor, only loose dust and lint. It's a huge step up from the little blower. Also good for cleaning the coils of the fridge.

I've had this one for a few years as well. Works well for hard surfaces, but trapped leaves may need some poking or change in blowing direction. Sometimes I just use the end of the nozzle to flip the trapped leaves.

Also, I bought an extra nozzle, heated it in my toaster oven to flatten out the end. Works really well blowing off excess water off the car and in between trim after a wash. Makes drying much faster and I use less towels.

This works fine if you have more dust than leaves. I have a 200CFM one that works great for blowing some leaves and debris off my driveway.

I got this for blowing leaves off the deck and driveway. I have an Echo PB9010T gas powered backpack blower for yard clean up. This is not comparable to that. My wife has been asking for a smaller battery operated blower for her to use for the deck, driveway and walkway. This should work well for quick clean ups when the big backpack blower isn't necessary.

I also grabbed this for $14. https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...ct/PCL664B

It made sense to grab the magnifier since I would never order that by itself with $15 shipping.

Ive been using this blower for a couple of years for camping. Great to blow leaves off your camp pad, start and maintain fires and blow off your stuff from the resulting ash that creates lol.

It has a variable trigger and has been very durable for me. Also great battery life on a 4ah about 30m.

I am guessing these are all of the black Friday units people returned. I returned mine. Very weak. It will work okay for dry leaves on a hard surface. Any other application this is useless.

Is it worth it, then, if this unit is underpowered, to move up to something like this instead? Includes a big honkin' battery too.

I'm upgrading from the Ryobi 18v "sweeper" model that's a wimpy 80cfm, which was still good enough for blowing off patio, driveway, and garage

I have this as well. Works for blowing out my garage and sidewalks. I can also blow grass out of my rocks. If the grass is recently mowed it can blow a little bit of stuff across the lawn. Wet definitely doesn't work.

The weird thing with mine is sometimes it will run full speed and sometimes less than full speed. I think i have something weird going on with the switch.
My switch went bad in this after a few years... the first sign was that it would never consistently go full speed. There's switches online (ebay/zon) for like 15-20 bucks. Takes about 15 minutes to replace and the blower works perfectly afterwards!
